New article in the Daily mail.

Looks like there might be a bit more media attention heading our way: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4468954/Man-spends-25k-plastic-surgery-elf.html

'I consider myself trans-species': Fantasy fan transforms himself into an ELF with £25,000 of plastic surgery including full body hair removal, skin bleaching and eye colouring

The article doesn't use the term otherkin, but anyone searching for "trans-species" is quite likely to find us, and I'm sure we will be mentioned in the comments sooner or later.

If I'd had the money 20 years or so ago, you can bet I'd have done this. Now, if I had money like that, I'd spend it to keep the various parts of my body that are trying to kill me from doing so.

Yeah, saw that floating around on tumblr. I didn't know there was such a thing as surgery to change eye color.

(I gotta say, at least in some of the pics he's got a pretty decent Ljosalfar kind of thing going on. It ain't my place to judge, but e.g. Stalking Cat I always thought looked kind of weird.)

Not gonna lie... if this kind of thing was a lot safer as well as a lot more affordable, I'd probably have something like it done. As it is, I'm going to have to agree with [personal profile] numb3r_5ev3n.
