I mean, we got lucky and got put on the cheat-and-lie path from the start; it was other trans multis we knew, the poor bastards who got an early diagnosis, who had the worst time.

And yeah, we understood that, it was just the infuriating small detail that these people seem to think a DID diag will make transitioning EASY. I mean, obviously if they had any real knowledge of multis or trans people, they'd know better, but much like furries, we're just boogeymen to them. I wouldn't be surprised if they threw DID in just to be like, "oooooh, imagine if the crazy took your poor innocent dumpling!" Purely to lump in all the scariest kinds of weirdness.
